Like what you mentioned about starting tweets with the "@" for webusers. When sending multiple "@"s, I've even been known to see which of the recipients was on the web (instead of twhirl or snitter) so I could line them up first.

Ike's last blog post..Sacred Cows

Re: It’s Your Twitter, Tweet How You Want To

My golden Twitter rule...actually my general rule for anything that can be documented: Assume your Mom will read whatever you write and act accordingly.

Re: It’s Your Twitter, Tweet How You Want To

Lol "Bunn dat", bunn fire pan it yes, for people who want to know what that term means, check his glossary: http://www.sheysmith.com/glossary/

Gordon Swaby's last blog post..The Thing About Us Jamaicans…..

Re: It’s Your Twitter, Tweet How You Want To

@Trula @Zoe thanks!

@Colin You're absolutely right; you've got to think before you tweet — you never know who you may piss off next!

Re: It’s Your Twitter, Tweet How You Want To

Shey, I am 100% with you on this one. I recently wrote my own set of VERY sarcastic 'rules' for Twitter.

Rules? HA! I laugh at rules on the internet. Common courtesy, just like in the 'real' world, will do just fine. After that, each person has the right to their own experiences.

great post :)

z

Zoe's last blog post..by: Colin Carmichael

Re: It’s Your Twitter, Tweet How You Want To

I think the main think you need to consider on Twitter (as with anywhere else on the web) is how you manage your reputation. Just don't do anything that could come back and bite you in the rear at a later date.

Great post.

Colin Walker's last blog post..Permalink problems.

Re: It’s Your Twitter, Tweet How You Want To

I totally agree, tweet how ya want.
